July 2022: Thornhill Medical Welcomes New Member to its Military Advisory Council

Thornhill Medical, a leading developer of innovative mobile medical technology for use in global conflict zones and disaster relief scenarios, is pleased to welcome a new elite military leader to its Military Advisory Council.

LTG (Dr.) Charles B. Green joins Thornhill Medical’s Military Advisory Council. He served as the 20th Surgeon General of the United States Air Force, from 2009 to 2012. In this capacity, he advised the Secretary of the Air Force and Air Force Chief of Staff, as well as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs on matters pertaining to the medical aspects of the air expeditionary force and the health of Air Force personnel. He also served as commander of three hospitals and Wilford Hall Medical Center, and as command surgeon for several major commands. An expert in disaster relief operations, he has planned and led humanitarian relief efforts around the world and has been recognized with multiple service awards and decorations during his prestigious career.

Established in May 2022, the Thornhill Medical Military Advisory Council of distinguished military medical experts is providing senior field experience in casualty care and medical leadership around the world to provide valuable expertise and insights, informing Thornhill Medical’s mission of improving casualty care and survivability.
